Qasr Al Hosn Trip

The high school students visited Qasr Al Hosn on October 21, 2025, for a cultural field trip that highlighted the depth and beauty of Emirati heritage. The visit allowed students to explore one of Abu Dhabi’s most historic landmarks and to experience the UAE’s history beyond the classroom.

Qasr Al Hosn, the city’s oldest standing building, was first constructed in the 18th century as a watchtower protecting the coast and its people. Over time, it became the home of Abu Dhabi’s ruling family and later a national symbol of pride, representing the story of a nation built on tradition, strength, and vision.

During the guided tour, students walked through the fort’s halls, exhibitions, and preserved areas while learning about daily life in earlier times. They discovered how architecture, craftsmanship, and cultural values continue to shape the identity of the UAE today.

The trip was both educational and inspiring, offering students a closer connection to their roots. It reminded them that understanding the past is an essential part of appreciating the progress and unity that define the UAE today.
