On September 26, 2025, girls celebrated Rawayeb Day as part of the Friday Theme series, shining a light on a meaningful element of Emirati culture. In the Emirati dialect, “الروايب” (Rawayeb) refers to the upper tips of the fingers, a word that carries cultural depth and reflects beauty, detail, and identity.
The celebration focused on how Rawayeb connects to traditional Emirati customs and values of grace and creativity. Students arrived with beautiful henna and Rawayeb-inspired designs on their hands. Each design represented patience, artistry, and pride in heritage, turning the school into a living expression of culture.
Throughout the day, students learned about the origins of Rawayeb and discussed how these traditional expressions reflect values such as respect, elegance, and appreciation for beauty. Teachers encouraged students to think about how these cultural details remind us of the importance of preserving traditions and carrying them forward with pride.
