We provide a stimulating learning environment both indoor and in our outdoor area. Our newly renovated classrooms are equipped with Smartboards and learning centers with large windows for natural light.
Our outdoor area consists of a play structure and large space for open play. Our physical education classes in our gym promote gross motor skills and collaborative play. The learning environment for our girls is a blend of the latest technology and nature.

LISG offers comprehensive pastoral care. Our girls are supported by our class teachers, teaching assistants, section supervisors, and the leadership team at LISG. From the moment they arrive at school in the morning to parent collection time, our students’ happiness and safety are at the heart of everything we do. Attendance is monitored very closely and parents are contacted by the Social worker if there are any concerns. Equally, if parents have any concerns with their children, they can contact the school and arrange to meet with the class teacher, supported by the social worker or a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
We have two full time social workers that can provide social counseling. We have a SEN department that can provide academic and social support.

Our kindergarten program is designed to prepare our girls for the elementary years. By the end of KG2, our students will be ready to read and write at or above the standard level. We encourage our girls to be independent learners who can seek and apply knowledge in all areas of their learning.
Children enrolling in KG1 must be 4 years old on or before August 31st. Similarly, children enrolling in KG2 must be five years old on or before August 31st.
Your child will engage in a variety of learning activities throughout the day. They will participate in circle time, reading sessions, center-based activities, play stations, and outdoor play. They also have classes in Arabic, Quran, Art, and Music.
LISG follows an inclusive education model as outlined by ADEK.
The health and safety of our girls are of utmost priority at LISG. We have a school nurse on-site and a health and safety officer that ensures the school facility meets ministry standards.
We understand that sending your child to school can be an emotionally difficult task for you as a parent. However, we believe our students settle best with the routines and structures when they are dropped off at school and allowed to settle with their class teachers.
Kindergarten runs from 7:30 am until 1:15 pm.
Yes, all of our Kindergarten rooms are clustered together and they have a dedicated playground.
We have a School Nurse on campus 5 days/week. Your child will be evaluated and treated immediately. You will be called right away if the injury is severe, or if your child needs to go home due to illness.
We have two break times Breakfast and lunch. Children may bring a healthy snack to eat during morning recess, around 9:00 am. Kindergarten lunch time is 11:00 am. Students may eat lunch from the cafeteria or bring a healthy lunch from home.
