We provide passion, knowledge, and experience in the services we present. The children become our family and our teachers are trained to understand the children as individuals and adapt their activities to the needs and interests of the children. Through this we can provide a safe and nurturing environment while also preparing the children for the curriculums and experience of Liwa Schools.
Our Pre-K program is the program that prepares your daughter for school. We support and guide children as they grow in all development areas and learn about the world around them through carefully planned activities. Within the creative and imaginative learning experiences provided by our teaching staff beginning shapes, numbers, colors, and Phonics are also introduced to children. We provide passion, knowledge, and experience in the services we present.
“Through the application of Edtech, we aim to make the access to learning anytime and anywhere possible.”
At LISG, we recognize that in today’s interconnected and technology-centric world, the learning environment can be virtual, online, remote as well as the physical place of learning such as a classroom or library. Through the application of Edtech, we aim to make the access to learning anytime and anywhere possible.
Developing students’ critical thinking and social engagement with Edtech is an essential ingredient to modern pedagogy.
The Liwa Education E-Learning portal is designed to support parents, students, and teachers to make effective use of the online learning opportunities within our schools to support achievement and engagement across all our subject areas.
We encourage you to take the time to understand more about the products and applications on offer and how they can be used to support anytime, anywhere learning and engagement.
Contact usMAP® Growth™ measures what students know and informs what they’re ready to learn next. By dynamically adjusting to each student’s responses, MAP Growth creates a personalized assessment experience that accurately measures performance. Timely, easy-to-use reports help teachers teach, students learn, and administrators lead.
Every question on a MAP Growth assessment is calibrated to RIT scale. Because the equal-interval scale is continuous across grades, educators can trust it to track longitudinal growth over a student’s entire career. Putting assessment into action means using MAP Growth data to pinpoint the instructional areas where students are ready to tackle—whether they are on, above, or below grade level. It reveals how much growth has occurred between testing events and, when combined with our norms, shows projected proficiency. Educators can track growth through the school year and over multiple years.
We encourage learning activities to be implemented outside when possible by climbing, running, walking, jumping, and sliding. In the outdoor learning areas, we give our girls the opportunities to explore music and movement, dramatic play, and science and discovery. Small and large group activities.
All learning environments and adult-child interactions are positive within our classrooms and our teaching staff are carefully trained to implement positive classroom management and positive behavior management strategies to support children’s relationships with others and their understanding of classroom expectations.
The core values that sit at the heart of the school and will be modeled by staff and promoted in the students through our teaching, learning and everyday practice are:
We work with the children to understand how to be gentle, caring, and respectful. If a child is identified to need further support in managing their emotions, understanding positive relationships, or understanding their environment. Our priority is always the social-emotional well-being, health, and safety of children.
We have two full time social workers that can provide social counseling. We have a SEN department that can provide academic and social support.
We employ our teachers according to qualification, experience, language skills, and their passion for early years education and care.
Our implementation of the foundations of The Creative Curriculum compliments the school's American Curriculum where learning activities are adjusted according to children’s age, development, needs, and interests.
Children attending Liwa Education Pre-K classrooms and Nurseries can transition directly into our Liwa Education Schools.
All children are asked to wear uniforms as valued members of the Pre-K community.
